Patron Access Problems

If the patron reports not being able to request via ReShare, check the patron’s record in your local circulation system:

  1. Does the patron have a patron record in Circulation? (an active patron record is necessary to request via ReShare)

  2. Is the entry for their most recent barcode active? (if not, patron may need a new library card, of if they have a new card, they may have to have their patron record updated)

  3. Do they have fines which will block their use of ReShare?

  4. Is the patron’s Group Type one of the authorized types for ReShare?
